 Mouse got her name the day she was born from the big “Mickey Mouse Ears” spot on her left side. She was with us for over 13 1/2 years and during that time she figured out how to rule the hounds and handle the humans of the Wild Hunt.
In 1986 she finished her Championship with three exciting BOB Wins over Specials taking advantage of her owner/ handlers all the way!
Mouse made her contribution to the Borzoi breed through her get. She was bred to CH Maschas Tikon (a co-breeding with Ralph Jamison), CH Crescent Grock and MBIS MBISS CH POSH Echovesna’s Islaev, a co-breeding with Jay Cunningham and George Hawkins. These litters produced 10 Champions, 3 LCM’s, 4 ASFA Field Champions, 2 AKC Field Champions, 6 Senior Coursers, 2 AKC Dual Champions, 4 ASFA Dual Champions and 1 CD. Her get accumulated 8 Specialty Wins including the 1999 BCOA National Best of Breed, 5 Veteran Sweepstakes Wins, , 5 Best in Field Wins, 5 Triathlon Wins, 3 Top Ten Lure Coursers and two Top Ten Oval Racers.
Mouse won the over ten Veteran Bitch Sweepstakes Class at the 1995 BCOA National Specialty. She passed her vitality and longevity on to her kids as seen by their numerous wins from the Veterans Classes.
