Isis, was as statuesque as the Egyptian goddess, she left behind a legacy of kindness toward kittens and an aura of joy at the nursing homes and mental health facilities that she visited. As beautiful as she was, she will be remembered for her kindness. It is fitting that she adorns the cover of the book “Dogs in Love” by J C in the photo taken by Robin Schwartz. Isis passed from complications after her spaying.

Memphis was the reserved, but successful candidate for Miss Congeniality among the Hounds of the Wild Hunt. In addition to being the “Poster Pup” for the smiling Borzoi, Memphis couples her nonstop grinning with a seductive chortle-like snort and the body movement of a curtseying princess backing out of the room. In the confines of her own back yard, Memphis’ favorite activity was jumping straight up in the air affording herself of the view over the solid six foot fence, suspending herself in midair, rotating only her head, before gracefully dropping to the ground. Memphis life was cut short by a tragic accident.
